Born in 1977, Crowdpleaser spins choice techno & house cuts since 1996 and produces since 1999. Part of the //schönwehrs design group, he also promotes the Bronco parties since 2001 with DJ/producer Water Lilly (guests include DJ Hell, Zombie Nation, Codec & Flexor).

He has produced soundtracks & installations in Los Angeles, Paris, Geneva and Lausanne while playing live and as a DJ in England, Germany, Sweden, Lebanon, France & Switzerland, holding residencies at Lausanne's Cult club and Weetamix in Geneva. Crowdpleaser's releases appear on the Mental Groove, Viking Music, Paparazzi, B Rave, WMF and Inzest record labels.

Crowdpleaser’s music has received rave reviews within the German techno scene : a mixture of heavy techno grooves and electro overtones with an irreverent attitude making for live sets that storm the dancefloor in a fresh, in-your-face style. DJ sets of reduced techno, jacking loops and hypnotic house show yet another facet of his musical personality that meets critical approval and public success.

German techno bible de:Bug gave his first single « Studioschwein » single the number 1 spot in its charts upon release, « Rather be » ended up on Tiga's « DJ Kicks » and Ivan Smagghe's « Hang the DJ » popular mix CDs.
